Enhanced Word Document Properties with Data from Arbizon
New functionality that automatically populates Word document properties with essential case information from Arbizon. This update automatically populates:

Expanded the Preview feature to support image files, including .jpg, .png. and gif formats.
“Nominal Codes” Enhancements
Added a new field in the “Chart of Accounts” parameter screen to specify if a nominal code is for Expenses or Services. Accounting Administrators can now update the Chart of Accounts accordingly.
The nominal code drop-down in Invoices now clearly separates Expense codes and Service codes into their respective sections.
In Invoice view mode the VAT nominal code is now displayed.

Resolve the issue where the Credit Note number was reset after changing the status from “Issued” to “Draft”.

New Vendor Payment Feature
Introduced a feature to create vendor payment records and associate expenses.
Navigate to the Vendor Payments Management screen by selecting Expenses from the menu, then choose Vendor Payments.
Once expenses are marked as paid to vendors, they become locked and can only be edited or deleted by authorized users.
Users with the "Manage Vendor Payments" permission can access and manage vendor payments.
New "Vendor Summary" information box
Added a “Vendor Summary” popup that displays key details such as vendor contact information.
Access the Vendor Summary by clicking on the vendor’s name within applicable screens, such as the Services Management or Vendor Payment Management screen.

“Add Preset Items” modal in Invoice Improvements
Users can now select the same preset item multiple times in the “Available Presets” list by clicking on it repeatedly. Additionally, the quantity can be adjusted using the +/- buttons in the “Selected Preset Items” section.
A new filter has been added to the “Add Preset Items” modal when selecting Expenses, allowing users to filter by Expenses or Disbursements.
A new “Notes” field has been added to the Expense Set modal. Users can now add notes for each expense when registering multiple expenses.
In the Expense modal, users can click on the (i) icon next to the Expense label to view a summary of the Expense Type.
When adding expenses to an invoice, users can now view the expense details selectively. In the “Add Expenses on Invoice” modal, hover over the expense name in the “Available Expenses” table and click the new window icon (
) that appears.
In the Invoice management screen a new filter has been added under the “More Filters” section, allowing users to filter by Debtor Accounting Code.
When adding an overall discount line in invoices, the nominal code is now completed automatically.
Navigate to System Invoicing & Accounting > Administration to configure the Default Discount Line Nominal Code.
A new configuration option has been added to set the maximum allowable waived amount in payments.
Navigate to System Invoicing & Accounting > Administration to configure the maximum allowable waived amount.
Fix so that the Draft watermark appears on all pages of draft invoices and credit notes.
When editing an action with a due date that falls on a weekend or public holiday, a warning will now be displayed.

Calendar Synchronisation with Microsoft 365

Document Preview
Navigate through files to see their content without opening them. (Support .docx, .doc, .pdf and other common file types).
Right click on a file and select Preview to open the file in preview mode.
Additional features supported in Previewer mode: Download file, Print file.
Open an MS Word file in Previewer and click on the Download button to download the file converted to PDF.
New features in Documents Widget related to the connection between Documents and Actions
An indicator is added next to the files that are attached to actions. The colour of the indicator represents the action status. Click on it to open the action modal.
For the files that are not attached to actions the colour of the indicator is white. Click on it to attach these files to actions.
New feature to select the Remittance Account Printed on Invoice
When in Invoice, select the remittance account that will be printed on the invoice.
When in Contact, select the default remittance account for this client.
Adjust supporting parameter pages in System menu > Invoicing & Accounting
Configure the default remittance account in the Administration page.
Set up the Invoice Templates to print the remittance account details.

Document Locking Mechanism
When a file is opened in edit mode, it gets locked to prevent other users from editing it at the same time and it is automatically unlocked after it is closed.
Locked documents can be opened in read-only mode by other users.
All users can unlock the documents they have locked. Users assigned to the permission “Unlock all Documents” can unlock all documents.
When a user is not authorised to edit a document, this is opened in read-only mode.
Faster loading time for Case Parties widget in Legal Case.

Arbizon Assistant
Arbizon Assistant is a desktop application that allows you to open and edit files attached in Arbizon using the compatible application that is installed on your PC.
To edit a file attached in Arbizon just do a single click on the file name. The file will open using the proper desktop application. For example, when the file name extension is .docx then the file will open in Microsoft Word.
To save your changes just click on the Save button of the desktop application and Arbizon Assistant will synchronise the file in Arbizon.
